We are a one-stop service that aims to improve the quality of life of children and young people aged between 11 and 25 years old from the following backgrounds: refugee, asylum seeking, trafficked, undocumented, or migrants newly arrived to the UK.

Dost’s relationship-based, collaborative and culturally relevant approach has been developed since 2000 in response to children and young people’s needs. By providing psychosocial casework and a diverse youth and education programme, we help children and young people:

  • To actively participate in their local and wider communities.
  • By valuing their resilience, and increasing their well-being.
  • To access their rights and entitlements, and be supported through the asylum process.

Accessing our services:

Young people can access our services directly by coming along to the Youth Club (at the Carpenters and Docklands Centre in Stratford from 5.30 – 8.30pm every Thursday) or by dropping in to the Trinity Community Centre, where they will be supported in completing a Young Person self-referral form.

Professionals will need to complete the Professionals Referral Form and post or email it to us with the header/subject line:  ‘Dost Referrals.’
